The CPM-900 is a heavy-duty, solid state magnetic door switch, designed and tested to alert you of an open cargo door, or an intruder. The CPM-900 has a unique, patent-applied for, non-contacting magnetic circuit which allows up to 100% misalignment and, in fact, a 1 ½ inch gap in the door before triggering. This prevents false triggering by door vibration, bounce or chatter. All wire connections of the CPM-900 are concealed to prevent damage from harsh environments, rough use or an intruder. The CPM-900 has an exceptionally long life because there are no moving parts to wear out.

Use the CPM-900 to detect open doors, or out-of-place bulkheads. The CPM-900 can be used with RBE’s TAS 1000 to provide shut-down of the trailer refrigeration unit when the cargo doors are open, and re-starts the engine when the doors are shut. This saves money on energy and prevents load damage.
